We are glad to announce our starting collaboration with Pierre-Emmanuel Rousseau on the occasion of a project which defines himself as well as the individual practice of his profession perfectly, as he is usually in charge of stage-direction, set and costume-design at the same time. This results in a unique unity of style and a perfect coherence relating to dramatic art. Pierre-Emmanuel Rousseau’s staging of Donizetti’s Don Pasquale which was already enthusiastically accepted in Switzerland last year, is equally funny and fierce as classy and elegant. The production is now being revived at the Metz Opera. Performances on November 17, 19 and 21, 2017.
