Although disposing of a very „Italian“ timbre (with a focused and colourful sound), Julien Behr has built up his international reputation with a „German“ role: Tamino (Die Zauberflöte) which he already performed in six different productions including the most recent one of the Paris Bastille Opera.
Julien right now returns back to the Opéra du Rhin making his role-debut in another part in German language: Narraboth, the unlucky admirer of Strauss' Salome. Opening night on March 10, 2017.
