Role-debut in Mozart's early opera wit the Salzburg Mozart-Week

As Celia in Mozart's Lucio Silla, Eva Liebau gave her role debut on 24 January 2013 at the Mozart week in Salzburg. Rolando Villazon performed in the title role as her brother.

The chronologically last opera composed by Mozart for Italy, Lucio Silla, gave the offbeat for scenic opera productions in the frame of the Mozart week in Salzburg. "Brilliant" (Der Standard), "tender and with an almost childlike sensitivity" (Salzburger Nachrichten), as well as "agile in the breakneck fioritures of the role" (Wiener Zeitung) were the conclusions of the daily press. Eva Liebau, for whom Mozart represents part of her central stage repertoire, was praised by the Opernglas for her "lyric and smoothly flowing soprano". In 2006, she debuted in Salzburg as Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro, in Berlin and Zurich she sang Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, in Zurich she performed in La finta semplica, and in Vienna, Luxembourg, Dresden and Paris she was to be heard in La Betulia liberata. Her upcoming role debuts concerning Mozart will be Zerlina in Don Giovanni and Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro.
