A festive music summer

Friends of baroque music have already noted his clear and soft voice as well as his fine musical lines. Discovered by William Christie, Reinoud Van Mechelen has in the last year made his debut on prestigious stages such as the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence and the Wiener Konzerthaus.

A few days ago Reinoud Van Mechelen was acclaimed at the Château de Versailles in the title role of Charpentier's Actéon with Les Arts Florissants. This summer he will be performing with Les Talens Lyriques and Christophe Rousset (Amadis by Lully at the Opéra Royal de Versailles and at the Beaune Festival), with Les Arts Florissants and William Christie (title role in Charpentier's Le Fils Prodigue in Lessay and at the Mont Saint-Michel before taking part in the Festival "Dans les Jardins de William Christie"), with La Simphonie du Marais and Hugo Reyne (Les Indes galantes at La Chabotterie and La Roche sur Yon) and with Capriccio Stravagante and Skip Sempé ("Europe Galante" at the Utrecht Festival).
