A member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater Meiningen since 2017/18, Marianne Schechtel has had the opportunity to distinguish herself in a wide-ranging repertoire, from Dorabella (Così fan tutte) to Dryade (Ariadne auf Naxos), from Eboli (Don Carlos) to Carmen (title role).

Now she makes her role debut as Flosshilde in the new production of Das Rheingold, under the baton of General Music Director Killian Farrell, staged by Markus Lüpertz.
