This is the impressive list – sorted by countries not in chronological order - of all 35 cities in 13 different countries where Reinoud Van Mechelen appeared in performance since September 1st, 2015. This may prove if any proof were needed, that Reinoud Van Mechelen has established himself as an indispensable tenor of the international baroque stage!

The upcoming summer will be highlighted by the title role in Rameau’s Zoroastre in concert version on tour with the Ensemble Pygmalion and Raphaël Pichon, on July 15 at the Festival de Radio France et Montpellier, on July 16 at the Beaune Festival and on July 18 at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence.

By no means to be missed further highlights at the Beaune Festival: a program including Bach cantatas with Les Arts Florissants and William Christie on July 22 and the title role in Charpentier’s La descente d’Orphée aux Enfers with the Ensemble Correspondances and Sébastien Daucé on July 29. 

Next season Reinoud Van Mechelen will make a significant step of career by adding the roles of Belmonte (Die Entführung aus dem Serail) and Gérald (Lakmé) – both in concert version - to his repertoire.
